In 1891 various adjustments were made between the parishes of Knockbain (KNB) and Killearnan (KEA): transferred from KNB to Killearnan KEA were: Gallowhill (woodlands, land and croft); Muckernich (houses, crofts and land); Tore (house, shop and land). From KEA to KNB were transferred: Artafallie (part of farm); Ashley (farm, tollhouse); Bellfield (part of farm); Croftnacreich (crofts, houses and land); Knockbain Free Church and manse.
