Parish notes
A small part of the parish of Maybole MAY was divided from the rest of the parish by the estuary of the River Doon. In 1891 this was transferred from MAY to Ayr parish AYP. It included: Abercromby Cottage Cunningpark (part) Goukscroft Seafield (part). See Shennan 1892, 297.
