Notes
Monro noted (1549) 'the water of Killmartine' which presumably flowed nearby (Description no. 132). The name is now that of a graveyard, but there seems also to have been a chapel here, as was reported to the surveyors of the OS Name Book in the nineteenth century (NMRS).
