NMRS records that the church was mentioned by Archdeacon Monro in 1549, but was in ruins when noticed by Pennant in 1772 (OPS 1855). Nothing is now visible. Early medieval cross-slabs have survived at the site (Fisher 2001, 96-7), now in Canna House, as has a late medieval grave-slab. See NMRS for further discussion and description.
