Notes
The remains of the probably seventeenth-century building are described by NMRS. But this is probably on the site of a much earlier church, as evidenced by the survivial of an early medieval cross-marked slab from this site which is now in the National Museum of Scotland (NMS X.IB 194) (Fisher 2001, 137) 'Tobar an t-Sagairt', the Well of the Priest, lies on the south side of the burial ground (OS 6 inch 1st edn)
