Watson: Source: 'One of the two Amulree markets used to be held on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of May' (1926, 289). The church stands on the north side of the River Bran, which at this point is the parish boundary between Little Dunkeld (to the north) and Dull (to the south). On the south side of the burn (in Dull, at NN899369) stands the Church of Scotland kirk of Amulree, built 1743 x 1752 (NMRS).
