The ruined church, built in 1706 to replace the medieval building which was then ruinous (NMRS). Note also the proximity of Lag na Keil (lag na cille, 'hollow of the church') to the south, and Tobar an Easbuig ('bishop's well')immediately to the north-east of the church. The well no longer exists, but a farm here is still called An Tobar ('the well').
