OS Atha a' Chaibeil ('ford of the chapel') crosses the burn beside it, while Creag a' Chaibeil ('rock or cliff of the chapel') rises above it to the east. NMRS records the foundations rediscovered and retored in the 1930s. Two early cross-slabs have been found here and are built into the wall.
