Notes
The Martyrology of Aberdeen states on 18 February that Colmán was buried in the diocese of Ross, at Tarbat (sepultus dyocesi Rossensi apud Terbert). The Martyrology of Tallaght, for the same date, has as the first saint 'Colman i mMuriab fri Mona ituaidh ata Colman' ['in Moray, to the north of the Mounth is Colmán']. It should be noted that Ross (Martyrology of Aberdeen) and Moray (Mart. Tallaght) are both north of the Mounth, but otherwise are separate areas.
