Notes
This is the site of a medieval chapel and a burial enclosure. A medieval long-shafted ringed cross-slab stands here by the nineteenth-century enclosure (NMRS). A short distance to the south-west is a hill called Dun Domhnuill (OS Digimap) which according to local tradition was a 'court-hill' (NMRS, Canmore ID: 39162). A 'Judge's Chair' stood on the hill until it was vandalised in the twentieth century, though the remains are still visible. The church also overlooks the lower reaches of the River Add, where it flows out to sea, giving access for sea-traffic to the fort at Dunadd.
