NMRS records: The remains of the chapel and old parish church were cleared away preparatory to building the present parish church in 1815 (Fullarton's Gazetteer 1842). No trace of any early structure was seen in the vicinity of the present parish church, at NS 1743 7654 in 196 (Canmore ID: 40745).
