Notes
NMRS records some doubt as to whether this really was a chapel. An enclosure was, according to tradition in the nineteenth century, used as a burying ground. A well near the enclosure was regarded as a 'holy well' in 1845 (NSA Kintyre, 429), and depositions of coins and quartz stones have been found there (NMRS).
