Settlement
Is linear feature?
No
Notes
This settlement lies in a corner of Sanquhar parish abutting Kirkconnel, making the possibility of the element Connel(l) in it being a saint the more probable. NGR is now Connelbush, though at time of OS 6" 1st edn this was called Low Connelbush. At the time of that edition, and until mid 20th century, there was also a farm called Little Connelbush at NS752107, but this seems to have been ephemeral (not there before 1850s, gone by 1950s).
