Notes
These lands, along with the lands of Gadvan DBG, were associated with the kirk of Dunbog, of which in 1814 it was stated that 'there is particular proof of the lands of Gadven and St Bridget's Lands.' The dedication of this field beside the church may reflect the medieval dedication of Dunbog church (which belonged until circa. 1189 to St Brigit's church of Abernethy). See Taylor with Márkus iv, 338 for discussion of this place and the cult of Bridget.
