Notes
This place, at least its burying ground, may be the site referred to as Cladh Muluag in a note made by WJ Watson in 1886, recording information from Duncan Cameron, police officer, Lochaline, Argyll, probably received in Edinburgh, which reads 'Cladh Muluag Treisnish 3ft standing cross stone. Small arms of cross - worn.' [Edinburgh University Library, Carmichael-Watson Collection, GB 237 Coll-97/CW122/26]. Given that the reference is to a stone, however, we should probably read his 'cladh' as 'clach', 'stone'.
