The NGR is for the enclosure marked on OS Digimap as 'Chapel Croft', close to the settlement of Kilantringan. Although there are the remains of various buildings in the vicinity, one in a small field called Chapel Croft, all appear to be of secular origin. The precise location of the chapel is unknown (NMRS).
