NMRS records: A field on St Michael's Walls farm (NY 139 849) is traditionally the site of a chapel, and is noted as such in the title deeds of the property. The name St Michael's Walls was commonly applied to the field in 1856, when no trace of the chapel could be seen. Name Book 1856 There is no trace of this site on the ground and no further information. Name not comfirmed. Visited by OS (DWR) 5 January 1972.
