This well is on a steep and wooded slope immediately below the car park of the Episcopalian church, Holy Trinity. The name is known by local people, and the parish priest but not marked on any map to the best of our knowledge. The church is at the north-western edge of the town of Dunoon, and immediately to the west of the graveyard commence woodland and the lands of Kilbride.
