As cosmail gurab de ghoires an naoimsenchas Baodan Cluana an dobair, mac Sinil, ata ar sliocht Conmaic, mic Fergais, mic Rosa, mic Rudhraidhe, ó raitter Clanna Rudhraighe. 'Mobaoi, of Cluain-fionnabhair, or of Cluain-da-an-dobhair, in Ui-Muireadhaigh. Sinell was the name of his father; and Sin, daughter of Niall, son of Meachar, of Corca-Bhaiscinn, of the race of Conaire, of Leim Conculainn, was his mother. It is probable that he it is whom the Naoimhshencus called Baedán, of Cluain-an-dobhair, son of Sinell, of the race of Conmac, son of Fergus, son of Ross, son of Rudhraighe, from whom the Clanna-Rudhraighe are named.'
